Terms and Conditions
1. Sender's responsibility
The sender has the obligation to inform Romexpress about any restrictive measure applicable in Canada so that the shipment will be accepted at the destination. Any additional costs generated by the non-reception of goods at destination or by the sanctioning by the air cargo agent for reasons beyond Romexpress's control, shall be incurred by sender accordingly

The sender takes full responsibility for the veracity of the data declared and set out in the documents forwarded to the air cargo agent for the cargo to be custom cleared and shipped by air.

The sender has to declare the correct value and shipment content when the package is handled to Romexpress.

2. Romexpress's responsibility
Romexpress does not take responsibility in case of lost, stolen, or damaged goods during transportation. Liability for lost, stolen, or damaged goods is limited to the value of the item(s) as declared by the sender (verbally or written) when handing over the package to Romexpress.

**Exclusions of Liability: natural disasters, strikes, or where customers failed to adhere to packaging and labeling guidelines.

3. Insurance and claim
In the price the sender have included an insurance of 15$/kg. In case the sender want any additional insurance, he can pay an additional 25$ per 1000$ declared.

Claims for lost, stolen, or damaged goods must be filed within 24 hours of the reception of the shipment at destination with pictures of the received package and correlation of the item(s) with the inventory given to Romexpress. Claims will not be processed if filed outside this time frame.

Claims for loss or damage will be processed up to a maximum value of 400$ per shipment, unless additional insurance has been purchased.

4. Tracking and delivery

Tracking Services: All customers will be notified when the package leaves Montreal. The consignee will be advised when the package has cleared customs and is ready to be shipped.

Delivery Confirmation: Romexpress has no responsibility once proof of delivery is confirmed at destination.

Delivery Failures: Romexpress is not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by third parties (e.g., customs issues or delays from shipping partners).

5. Lost or Stolen Goods

Definition of lost Goods: When a package has not been delivered after 60 days after the planned day for shipping.

Stolen Goods: Unless additional insurance was purchased or specific delivery options (e.g., signature confirmation) were requested, the company may not be liable for theft after delivery.

Investigations: Romexpress will investigate claims of lost or stolen goods, (certain conditions apply), within 60 days of delivery.

Romexpress takes reasonable precautions to ensure that the sender goods are shipped securely. However, once a shipment has been delivered and signed for (if applicable), our responsibility ends. In the event that your package is lost or stolen before delivery, please contact us immediately. Claims for lost or stolen items must be filed within 24 hours of the shipment’s expected delivery date. Any claims for lost or stolen packages will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and compensation will be limited to the declared value of the goods or the maximum allowable claim limit under applicable law, whichever is lower. For added protection, we recommend purchasing shipping insurance.

6. Force Majeure Clause

Romexpress is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or any government actions.

7. Customer Indemnification

The customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Romexpress from any and all claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from our breach of these terms such as failure to comply with our shipping requirements, including incorrect shipping information such as the inventory and the value of the package, prohibited goods, or improper packaging.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Information: Customers must provide accurate and complete information (e.g., recipient address, package details, inventory, value of the goods). Romexpress is not responsible for any incorrect information given by the sender.

Packaging Requirements: Customers must ensure that items are securely packaged and meet Romexpress's standards for shipping.
